Yes. There was a programme on the other week about modern housing which was saying much the same thing. But a little less poetically.
The place you live in has to be noe of the biggest influences on your mood and outlook...that is, if you are a shallow materialistic person like me.
There was a William Morris display at the Art Gallery a little while back. We went. It was dazzling.
This is why I could never live in an ugly place. My spirit rebels at the thought.
