I think they have a point...if I'm understanding right that their point is that it is incredibly difficult to second-guess anyone's motives for anything and that we shouldn't bother trying. ;)
They get bonus points for Scylla and Charibdis instead of just going for rock and hard place, though.
Oh, and it was worth skimming purely for:
