Wishful Thinking

One who is not disturbed in mind even amidst the threefold miseries or elated when there is happiness, and who is free from attachment, fear and anger, is called a sage of steady mind.

I first read that as threefold Miniseries.

Me too. And I, like Myo, pronounce it 'miseries' with a 'ni' in the middle. Always have. Still do, even though I know it's wrong. I just can't help it.

In short, me too.

At length, like h and flowyks, i read it as miniseries. And, yep, i still find myself pronouncing it just like flowyks said. I just can't help it.
But i console myself with the thought that at least i now know what it means, and how i really should pronounce it.
Probably better if i leave things as they are ... otherwise i might go too far and find myself pronouncing miseries as Miss Series .
