I've been a Titor fan from way back.
*wry smile*
I keep a very open mind on this one.

So, then. Does shami believe he traveled from Ahead? Or that he was simply a wonderful story teller?

Let’s see, who do I know of that could write such a clever account of time travel as changing timelines instead of the standard SF idea of travel through linear time? The person who comes to mind is Australian theoretical physicist and cosmologist Paul Davies, who did write a neat non-fiction book in 2001 called How to Build a Time Machine. But he currently works at my local university in the Astrobiology centre, and would have been too busy to be online pretending to be Titor. In Michael Crichton's book Timeline, published in 1999, the classic quote is: “ What we have developed is a form of space travel. To be precise, we use quantum technology to manipulate an orthogonal multiverse coordinate change. It means that we travel to another place in the multiverse."
